Weaving Hopes and Prayers is a project chronicling five generations of women in my family. This moving, loving and beautiful work was inspired by my desire to document history for my daughter. Stories spanning the past 150 years reveal not only the rich, complex life of each woman, but shed light on the larger concerns of the time.
